Automation Inc. completed the installation of eight new SKF/Lincoln Metro Line Lubricators at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) in Boston, MA. This is part of MBTA’s Green Line Extension (GLX) Project, which extends the Northern end of the Green Line further into Somerville and Medford. These Lubricators play a vital role in extending both rail and wheel life and dampening the noise from wheel screech. The GLX project is just one of the multiple projects at the MBTA that Automation Inc is proud to be an integral part of over the next decade.
